One of a Kind!

The name says it all, it’s all about fries! Baked crispy fries, with over a 1000 customizable combinations, MyFries Poutinerie is the opposite of the typical poutine image out there.  It’s a fresh new concept that offers a fresh new alternative to traditional fast food.

myFries offers healthy options for people who crave french fries. We use specialized equipment and no deep fryers. That is why a myFries restaurant smells like food, not grease. Because of the simplicity of the process, no kitchen staff is needed and three or four people can run lunch rush. Our contemporary interior design offers our customers a place where they can come together and relax.
The franchisee has the direct benefit of having a highly experienced team standing behind them every step of the way. We believe in building strong relations with our franchisees and our industry knowledge and connections are a direct benefit to all franchisees from point of store construction to daily operations.

Why look for another pizza, sandwich or wrap concept? There are probably already a few on your block that you will have to compete with. Our baked fries have no competition but offers a healthy option for anyone craving their favorite fast food,

Step by Step?

The Process

It’s is a big decision for everyone involved and there is a lot of time and effort that goes into opening a restaurant. Make sure you are well informed and that the brand you want to join is the right one for you while we want to be sure you are the right franchisee. To ensure this process moves along smoothly and nothing is missed along the way, we take a very structured approach right from the start. The information below outlines the major milestones along the way and provides a brief description of what is involved in each step.

Maybe you’re a regular customer, you’ve browsed through our website and brochure and you feel you want to know more about myFries. Come in and let’s meet. We’d love to get to know you better and tell you more about out our brand.

Let’s sit down and discuss all the aspects of the myFries business and franchise opportunity. Bring a pen and paper because we’ll have a lot to cover and I’m sure you will have a lot of questions yourself.

Before you make the big decision to join myFRIES, we believe it is important that you spend a couple of days with us at the restaurant. This will get you a better impression of the day to day operations. You will be a part of our team and get hands on experience so we can see if this is something you want to commit to.

Our real estate agent will assist you in finding for a great location for your future store unless you have something in mind already, then we can see if it qualifies to be a great spot. We can also assist with lease negotiations.

With construction and development underway, you will go through our training program. This includes the Gluten Free Food Program on-line training and the food handlers course, which is done at an Alberta Health location. Our training program can take 4 weeks depending on the progress made.

After our initial meet and greet, we would like you to fill out the franchise application. You can find it on this page through the download button. This will give us more information and start the process for qualifying to be a myFries franchise owner.

At this stage you will be provided with the formal Franchise Disclosure Documents which will include a copy of the Franchise Agreement. After you review these documents, we will schedule another meeting to discuss the details of these documents.

By now you have made it through the screening process and you completed your review and assessment of the documents and opportunity. Now is the day to sign the Franchise Agreement and the initial Franchise Fee is paid at this time.

Our contractor will take it then from there. The design and permits can take 90 – 120 days and then once the construction begins, it would take approximately 90 days to get the store done.

This is the day we open the doors of your new myFRIES store. One of us will walk you through the daily procedures and help throughout the day for the next few weeks.
